THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS:
Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence (WOI) is a networking group designed to promote and mentor women working in the commercial real estate industry. Our members, representing a variety of disciplines within the real estate field, include developers, lenders/investors, brokers, attorneys, and environmental consultants. Throughout the year, we meet regularly for our WOI Lunch Series, featuring women leaders in Northern California commercial real estate. Speakers typically discuss a current or prior real estate project of theirs, sharing how they have navigated challenges and best practices for success. Our “Lunch with a Legend” speakers have focused on their career paths and issues confronting real estate professionals. Amidst the disruption and hardship caused by COVID-19, it is more important than ever to share successes and maintain connections. Every two years, the WOI awards honor the contributions and achievements of women in Northern California real estate. WOI honorees have helped shape the commercial real estate sector in Northern California, and we recognize their accomplishments at an awards luncheon and through online and printed editorial coverage by the San Francisco Business Times.

August 2021 Luncheon On Thursday, August 26, we will host a conversation with Alicia John-Baptiste, President and CEO of SPUR (the San Francisco Bay Area Planning and Urban Research Association). Alicia is responsible for defining the overall vision and strategy for the organization. Prior to joining SPUR, she held senior public administration and public policy roles for the City and County of San Francisco, including chief of staff positions at both the San Francisco Planning Department and the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency. Alicia will discuss the recently released SPUR Regional Strategy, which outlines a vision for the Bay Area of 2070 as an equitable, sustainable and prosperous region. Alicia will also talk about how she approaches collaboration and the importance of women supporting women.
The WOI awards program recognizes women who have made outstanding contributions to the Northern California commercial real estate industry. WOI honorees work across a variety of fields, including architecture, finance, development, and investment. They represent some of the most prestigious companies in the Bay Area, across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. The WOI awards program recognizes women across the career spectrum, including Rising Stars, Honorees, and Hall of Fame winners. WOI honorees are recognized for their achievements over the prior two years at an awards luncheon and through online editorial coverage by the San Francisco Business Times. The 6th Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence Award Luncheon was held in October 2019. Click here to view 2019 Honorees.
